Put on your own oxygen mask before assisting others. Does that sound familiar? Not only do you hear it each time you fly - it is often used as an analogy to remind us that for us to show up as our best self - we need to take care of ourselves first.
The same is true in leadership. In order to be the most effective leader - you should not only lead OTHERS, but also lead yourself.
