Description

The road to healing from prostate cancer can be challenging. Today, we have a board-certified urologist, Dr. Kelly Casperson, joining us to talk about a sensitive topic. Many couples find themselves unprepared, and they feel overwhelmed when dealing with the sexual consequences of the various prostate cancer treatments. Dr. Casperson’s mission is to help empower women to live their best love-lives, so she breaks down the societal barriers that prevent couples from awakening into the fullness of their intimate lives, by combining the power of mind work with that of body–science, and relationships. Stay tuned, to find out more!

Dr. Casperson is a founding member of Pacific Northwest Urology Specialists, in Bellingham Washington. She practices comprehensive urology with a focus on female urology and urogynecology. She treats pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections, genitourinary symptoms of menopause, and female sexual dysfunction. When she is not in her clinic, she loves being a mom, a wife, and educating women about their sexual health and their bodies with her podcast and Facebook page, You Are Not Broken. Be sure to tune in today, to hear what Dr. Casperson has to say about restoring intimacy following prostate cancer treatment.
