Description

The problem with most entrepreneurs and most wannabe entrepreneurs is that they don't take consistent action. They get paralyzed by analyzing everything and trying to learn every step of a process before they even get there. But it's consistent action that leads to success in business and in life.

On this reboot episode of the podcast Mark Evans, DM is back with his characteristic straight-shooting approach to business and he's making a pivot in the way he delivers these episodes - to make them even more valuable to business owners, entrepreneurs, and anyone else who wants to create the lifestyle that they want. Mark doesn't hold anything back so if you're squeamish or looking for someone to make you feel good about yourself, this is not the podcast for you. He's going to tell you what you need to hear - and hopefully, that's what you want to hear.

You can focus on problems or you can focus on solutions

Every business and every business owner is going to face problems. But you can't be stopped in your tracks every time a problem arises, you have to make decisions and take action. Mark knows that It's only those who are consistent in addressing the problems they face who are able to come up with solutions that not only deal with the problem but also move their business forward.

You can focus on your problems, or you can focus on solutions, it's your choice. In this episode, Mark explains how to get rid of the weak thinking that is holding you back and establish strong patterns of belief and motivation that move you and your business forward.

Don't get stuck in the 7-year newbie syndrome

There are so many entrepreneurs who are wannabes. Maybe they really do have an entrepreneurial spirit, maybe they do have some great ideas and things inside them that could change the world. But they spend so much time learning that they never take action - and all of their great characteristics are lost to the world.

Don't get stuck in the seven-year newbie syndrome, you need to take action. Consistent action over time is what leads to success. Yes, you will make mistakes. Yes, you will have setbacks. But you will never build the strength of character needed to overcome them if you don't get started.

If you do everything on your own, you're working for a psycho - you!

One of the key components of any successful business is surrounding yourself with superstars who are able to take on the aspects of your business that you are not gifted in doing. There's a huge letting-go that has to take place, but if your business is going to explode, it has to happen.

In this episode, Mark says that if you do everything on your own, you're working for a psycho and that psycho is you. Nobody can do everything well, in fact, no one can do everything at all. If you are deluding yourself into thinking that no one can do it as well as you can, you're setting yourself up for a limited amount of income and a small game business. Mark doesn't hold anything back in this episode, and you won't want to miss it because if you listen and learn from a guy who has been there and done that, you can set yourself up for greater success than you ever imagined.

You cannot grow a big business with a small mindset

If you've read this far it is likely because there's something in you that is striving for more - and Mark's hard-hitting words are stirring that up. Don't squelch it. Don't let yourself step away from the opportunity to grow your mindset. If you want to grow a big business, you need to have a big mindset. And you will only grow your mindset by taking consistent action in the right direction.

The DM recorded this episode of the podcast to get you thinking, just like he's been thinking as he's approaching his 40th birthday. There are a lot of things in his past that Mark wishes he had done at a higher level, and he doesn't want you to make the same mistakes. Mark has nothing to gain from this, but you have everything to gain. Make sure you listen and make sure you take action.
