The Lord called Ezekiel into the water, and Ezekiel was willing to wade through it as it became deeper and deeper. He knew that it was the Lord who had called him, and he kept his heart and mind set on the Lord. When you don't know how deep the water will get, or what is beneath the surface, we have to stay focused on the Lord, and not allow fear to keep you from being obedient.
