In this particular scene a feared New Orleans "Mystic" named Madame Montoyier teaches her only grandchild (Paradise) how to defeat their enemies. Madame Montoyier (pronounced: Mon-Toy-Yea) learned the "Divine Sciences" from her father Cicero Montoyier.
In 1934, Cicero fathered Madame Montoyier at the age of eighty. Madame Montoyier's eighteen year old mother was a beautiful chocolate covered Choctaw (Indian) from Amite, Louisiana. The locals claimed, "She was Miss Universe beautiful." Madame Montoyier had a twin brother named Charlie-Boy, who died at the age of five. Madame Montoyier's birth name was Isabella Rosemarie Montoyier. Madame Montoyier and her granddaughter (Paradise) shared the same name.
