I must have mentioned in an earlier episode that I used asana as my law firm practice management software, and a listener asked me why I moved to that from insightly.
I thought now would be a good time to address that.
First things first, because I am the unconventional attorney, I don't really like to do anything by the book. This includes using law firm practice management software designed specifically for law firms.
I don't bill by the hour (i.e. I to flat fee legal billing) so I don't need all the time keeping stuff.
Anyway, here are a couple of thoughts about the best law firm management platform out there.
1. There is no all encompassing platform. They all fall short because it's impossible to do everything well.
2. I piecemeal my platforms together using zapier.com, connecting asana, google apps, stripe, pandadoc, activecampaign, clickfunnels, acuityscheduling, and maybe a couple others.
