Our conversation today with Warren County Habitat for Humanity Director Andrea Ross included one of her board members/fundraising chair Sonya Wilkins. We met up at the WC Habitat office to learn more about the organization.
Drea explained their mission and talked about their newest build as well as the next one on the drawing board. She talked about the value of home ownership and the role it plays in building neighborhoods and increasing civic pride. She praised the many volunteers in the community who help witha wide variety of tasks from building, office work, and the different trades who give of their time & talent.
Sonya gave us the details for their Heart to Home Fundraising Gala that happens on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 6pm - 10pm at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club. Click here to purchase tickets. Bidders do not have to attend the gala to participate in the silent auction.
