River City Shootout at TJGT San Antonio Kick-off!

MacLean and Liu take home titles in this event played in the Alamo City

Just shy of 90 players from 2 countries teed it up in this NJGS ranked event played at the historic Pecan Valley Golf Club in San Antonio on September 8-9, 2007. This majestic course was the site of the 50th PGA Championship in 1968, when Julius Boros edged Arnold Palmer by one shot to win the championship. Rated in Golf Digest's Top 50 Public Courses in America, Pecan Valley will test every part of your game regardless of skill level. The weekend brought very pleasant weather with virtually no wind, lots of sun, and temperatures in the mid-90’s. The 16-18 boys played 6,920 yards, the 12-15 boys played 6,564 and the girls played just under 5,700 yards. A classic course and some of the best junior golf talent in the Lone Star State made for a great weekend.
