This week on a brand new spanking episode of Tomboy Tirade, (without Sharon who was abducted by aliens never to return) Raven and Persis spend a Saturday hanging it all out at the Laneway Music Festival in Singapore.
First up, is the concert by their favourite band, Savages led by the ultimate coolest tomboy on the planet, Jehny Beth. As the girls decide who gets to marry her, Jagwar Ma, the dance prog band from Australia call until they realise that it's only a DJ set with one half of the band nursing an injury at home.
Feeling disappointed, the girls head over to get some drinks and find out that beer and water literally costs one an arm and a leg. Then, theyhang out with cool chick Cali band, HAIM only to find out that their hit song 'The Wire' is a rip-off of the Eagles 'Heartbreak Tonight'. Can this night get any more disappointing? Yes, with a really boring performance from Daughter, Churches and James Blake. A totally dehydrated concert night that was saved only by Stella Artois beers and Savages.
