Today I talk to the God Squad - shout out to Keeping the Faith – Ordained Reverends Tom Owen-Towle and Richard Lawrence met in the stands of a little league field watching their grandkids play. They enjoyed each other’s company and talked about sports, life and Religion. Then years later, they discovered they both participated with Martin Luther King, John Lewis etc. and marched from Selma to Montgomery for voting rights for black people. They came from Chicago and California and helped clean fields prepare sleep areas for the famous multiday march. Here their tales about the march, their view of the progress over the last 50 years and what we can do today to keep doing God’s good work.
