Russell Baze, the all-time winningest jockey in North America was the latest winner of the Avelino Gomez Award, but our attempted interview didn’t get out of the starting gate. We did better with Flavien Prat, who is winning races at both the Saratoga thoroughbred track and the Saratoga harness track.
