At the beginning of each year, resolutions usually top the list for objectives to accomplish. On the other hand, grief can also accompany the new year as a time when we are reminded of those we have lost in the past year or during th holidays. Grief is defied as acute emotional pain that accompanies loss. That loss can be someone, something, or even a lifestyle change. Because it is a reflection of what we love, it can feel over whelming. This feeling of grief is not limited to the loss of people, but when it follows the loss of a loved one, it may be compounded by feelings of guilt and confusion. Grief knows no timetable for feelings of pain after loss and is, in fact, unique for each person and their own circumstances. In this episode, Katie Cosgrove, Certified Trauma Support Specialist, takes a different approach in facing grief. She sees grief through a perspective that is positive, caring, and filled with heart centered memories. Join me know as I talk with Katie Cosgrove about how Grief Is Good.
