DAY 11: COACHING

• On the eleventh day of Christmas, we give you the gift of COACHING.
• Read Luke 1:5-25
• Prayer for the Day: O God, embrace us with your encouraging love.  Give us ears hear and hearts to understand.  Make us quick to listen and slow speak.  Give to us the heart, mind, and work of Jesus so that as we are emptied in humble obedience we will be filled with the presence, peace, and power of your Spirit.  As you help us live out your call upon our lives, we offer ourselves to assist the people around us in living out your call upon their lives. As instruments of your love, help us use the gifts of compassion and influence to empower and equip others to lead a movement of Jesus followers. Amen

What would happen this year if you received the gift of a coach approach – knowing when and how to be silent, listening as much – or more than you speak. Receive the gift of coaching this eleventh day of Christmas. And add it to the gifts you’ve already received: the gifts of courage, compassion, connection, communion, context, community, change, celebration, influence, and calling.
