DAY 12: CHOICES
- On the twelfth day of Christmas, we give you the gift of CHOICES
- Read Matthew 2:1-2
- Prayer for the Day: O God, we are not always confident of the choices we need to make. We confess there are times we are paralyzed and we get stuck not knowing which way to choose. On this twelfth day of Christmas, we acknowledge that the leadership opportunities you have provided for us, at other times call for leading change and at other times call for joyful celebrations. So today, we choose to invest ourselves in developing people, to focus on our communities, neighborhoods, including the people beyond our church walls, to learn the context of our ministries and to develop leaders for the context, and to keep ourselves healthy so we will not lose our focus on leading a movement of Jesus followers. O God, we choose to bring you glory and to work for the good of the people you have given us to love and serve. We offer ourselves to you in the name of Jesus. Amen
Receive the gift of choice this 12th day of Christmas and add it to the gifts you’ve already received the gifts of courage, compassion, connection, communion, context, community, change, celebration, influence, calling, and coaching.
