This message, "What Do You Expect?" focused on Prov. 23:18, Prov. 10:28, Joshua 2:9-18, and others.
Do you realize it takes expectation (i.e., hope) for faith to operate? That's what Heb. 11:1 tells us. In Scripture, the word "expectation" is translated "hope." The Hebrew word for hope or expectation is Tiqvah, which literally means "a cord, a tether, an attachment." Whatever you are expecting you get attached to it and it gets attached to you. So even if you say you are believing for prosperity, but you expect it will be difficult for you to find a better job, or to start your business, etc., you need to understand that what you expect is what will manifest.
Once you understand this principle, you can apply it to your advantage! You can use it to uplevel your life! The life of Rahab illustrates that this principle will work for anyone under any circumstance, and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. The Bible says YOUR expectation shall not be cut off. Other people's expectations concerning you and your situation do not matter!
This message is not a game-changer; it's a life-changer!
