Description

Today our guest is Métis poet Gregory Scofield. In 2016, Gregory published his first new book of poetry in five years: Witness, I Am. The poetry is chilling, forceful, lyrical, and spiritual. We talk about the project of bringing voices to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, the role of orality and song in his craft, and how Gregory understands poetry as beadwork.
