This week, Allison and Max discuss two women whose legacies persist to this day. The first, a legendary figure to the Nigerian people, she helped define the role of women in their islamic society; The second, a low born shrine dancer, created one of the oldest and most respected art forms still practiced today: Nana Asma'u and Izumo No Okuni.
