Description

Years ago, I stood on a stage in front of over 1,000 people—right after the FBI spoke—and admitted something I never thought I would say out loud: I used to be a "John." It was one of the most difficult and humbling moments of my life, but it wasn't the moment that truly changed me.

The real turning point happened months earlier in a Starbucks. After sharing the truth about my life with someone for the very first time, I thought the conversation was over. But God had something else in mind. An 18-year-old girl turned around and asked me a simple question—one that cut straight through years of silence, shame, and self-deception.

In that moment, I couldn't hide anymore.

That question didn't just expose my past—it revealed the truth I had been avoiding. And it became the beginning of real transformation. Not through performance, not through pretending, but through truth… and through the quiet, persistent presence of God, who had never left me—even in the darkest parts of my life.

This episode is one of the most personal stories I've ever shared. It's about brokenness, honesty, and the unexpected ways God begins to redeem what we thought was beyond repair.

If this story speaks to you, I encourage you to take the next step.
