Today, our guest is Dr. Jamie Spangler. Dr. Spangler, of The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins, who received a V Scholar grant from the V Foundation in 2018. Her lab is hard at work developing new therapeutics that will activate the immune system against cancer. Today, we talk with Dr. Spangler about the path that led her to the field of cancer research, why the research her team is working on is so exciting and where she sees cancer research heading in the future.
