Today, we speak with Marc Silverman. Marc is the cohost of Waddle & Silvy on ESPN Radio’s WMVP 1000 AM in Chicago. For years, Marc was a supporter of the V Foundation, raising money and awareness through his show each year around the ESPYS. It became more personal for him this year, when he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma for which he is undergoing treatment. We talk about the emotions of his diagnosis, why he chose to make his cancer journey public and how being a cancer patient during the COVID-19 pandemic adds an additional layer of stress.
