As we approach V Week, we are very excited to be rolling out a new event. BOO-YAH A Celebration of Stuart Scott will take place on Monday, December 6th in New York City. The event will benefit the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund which is dedicated to reducing disparities in cancer outcomes and funding underrepresented minority scientists. Today, we speak with Susan Scott, a committee member for the new event and Stuart's sister. We talk to Susan about what it was like growing up with Stuart, how the family handled his celebrity status while fighting cancer and what we can expect from the event in December.
