Continuing our analysis of what could influence the themes and cinematography of Episode IX we watched the 1978 film Midnight Express, written by Oliver Stone. A still from the film was found Vic Mahoney's office wall. She was the 2nd unit director for The Rise of Skywalker and her moodboard has provided quite a bit of material about the film.
