American basketball star Brittney Griner has been detained in Russia for five months after being arrested in Moscow for carrying cannabis oil cartridges
Griner pleaded guilty in court yesterday, but the U.S. says she’s been wrongfully detained, which has led many of her supporters to wonder why the U.S. hasn’t done more to intervene.
