In its return to the state tournament, Perham boys basketball fought but couldn't overcome second seed Caledonia in the Minnesota AA Boys Basketball State Tournament, falling 51-40.
The No. 3-ranked and seeded Wayzata Trojans opened the state tournament with a dominant 71-28 victory over unseeded Moorhead on Tuesday at Target Center.
