- The nose on this wine is more mineral driven almost like licking a wet rock but also aromas of candied sour cherries, strawberry and not as fruity as the first wine
- This wine is less sweet and less acidic than the first wine with more concentrated, mellow flavors of cran-raspberry with a touch of honey

Maison Angelot Bugey Mondeuse 2016 priced around $16.
- Deep ruby colored wine with aromas of blueberry jam, black pepper and a hint of dusty earth
- It has medium body, acidity and tannins with flavors of sour cherries, blackberry and dusty earth
- This wine is very unique - it was difficult to describe
- We thought pairing it with some fatty food helped the wine to shine more
