The Mailman was tired.  Ever since noticing the storm gathering out on the horizon he'd been having trouble sleeping.  Troubling dreams.  His back had been stiff for days now, and his every movement came slowly and with some dull ache.

 

He watched the stormfront grow nearer ever day.  By his estimation it would be another four weeks or so before it hit.  A month or so to prepare.

 

Knowing that hadn't made falling asleep any easier.
