Rain longs to travel to Yvaga, a place where people may actually see suns, and escape this pitch-black planet of perpetual darkness. Her brother is going to accompany her. Rain's former lover Tyler, his covertly pregnant sister Kay, their cousin Bjorn, and Bjorn's girlfriend Navarro devise a scheme in which Andy becomes an essential component. In order to obtain fuel for their journey to the previously mentioned Yvaga, as well as cryonic hibernation chambers, this crew intends to scavenge at an abandoned space station. To gain access to the different rooms, the plan requires an Android device. Rain is given space, but Andy is not, and Bjorn despises Android phones. On the Corbelan, a mining hauler, they are initially alone with the android and the men as they fly to the station.
