In this far-ranging conversation, Larry Walker discusses some of the critical transitions in his life as an artist, including moving from Georgia to New York as a child, his academic studies in Detroit, and his stint in California before finally settling in Atlanta. Walker also delves into the notion of Black Art and the historical context of his work, as well as what inspires him and how he would like to be remembered.
