ZERO EXCUSES.
James Chapman joins me on the show this week. James is a former Australian Olympic Rower, he is a two-time Olympian and a silver medalist from the London Olympics. You can now find him consulting in the Leadership & Performance space at Maximus Consulting.
I asked James on the show because his responses are real. He has been in the trenches, put in the decades of work and found the keys to performing in the pressure. I was excited to have James on and expect you'll enjoy his perspective.
James' specific essay question was:
"How do you compare the standards, effort and dedication needed at the heights of Olympic Rowing with the competitive corporate world you find yourself in now? And what specific attributes from one allow for successful leadership in the other?"
We discussed performance in the business world, the inner dialogue it takes to perform and the questions you need to ask and answer of yourself in the biggest situations.
Enjoy the show.
