This week we welcome Lauren Silvers and Lisa Maree to the show. Co-Founders of innovative beauty and lifestyle App Glamazon these two know what it takes to think and live ambitiously.
I asked Lisa and Lauren on the show to share their perspective on competition. The two were once ‘competitors’ in the broad sense of the term and instead of the path most would take (to be resentful and try to beat one another) they both saw the benefits in collaboration. It is truly a stronger and more profound way of thinking. It was a pleasure to hear their stories and perspectives.
Lauren and Lisa’s specific essay question was:
“In an environment where a competitive edge could’ve kept you apart, why was it so beneficial to come together; and why did you two see that benefit when the world, so frequently, does not?”
The ladies and I spoke on the benefits of failure, who they learned the entrepreneurial traits from and what it was like before they had each other.
