Warm, cozy--and able to tell a story. Artist and Baltimore native Joan Gaither uses quilts to preserve and document American history. Her quilts are covered with beads, buttons, photos, and fabrics of all colors. Gaither describes putting her heart, soul, and identity into her quilts.
