From genetic engineering to space exploration, sometimes struggling through scientific jargon can feel like a roadblock to understanding the world. Today we meet two people working to break down the barriers, Meiling May and Kevin Monk, co-presidents of Project Bridge at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. The group trains scientists to communicate more clearly with the public and they host events, like tomorrow’s BrainFest, to engage young and old with science.
