Description

Thomas Von Der Ohe is the CEO and co-founder of Vay, a company redefining the future of urban transport with remote driving technology. After studying computer science and gaining experience in Silicon Valley, Thomas returned to Europe to create a new category in mobility—driverless carsharing.
Challenging the conventional approach to autonomous vehicles, he saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between human-driven and fully autonomous transport. By launching in the U.S., where state-level regulations provide a more scalable environment, Vay has been able to demonstrate product-market fit and refine its camera-based remote driving system.
With a vision to make mobility safer, more accessible, and cost-efficient, Thomas is leading the way in integrating teledriving into the future of shared and autonomous mobility.
