Joyce is a registered nurse who has worked in healthcare leadership positions across Canada for over 30 years. Her clinical work has focused on older adults and those with disabilities. She has been involved in research, education, clinical practice and leadership and has spent time in rural, northern and urban communities in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. She is currently the acting interim executive director of the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba. Today she joins Jer and Tay to discuss the current Canadian licensing standards for nurses, the importance of IENs and the need for mental health care solutions for nurses in Canada.
