With his exhibition “Metaverse Landscapes” on view through July 16th at Kunstverein Hannover, Berlin-based New Zealand artist Simon Denny joins NM to speak about his recent foray into landscape painting and his use of this art historical device to distill present-day motions to domesticate and financialize new territory—both in the digital realm and beyond it.
