God is clear - crystal clear. Humility is required to have a thriving relationship with him. It is also central to his #1 goal and purpose for your life - to be like Jesus. You can't be like Jesus, lead like Jesus, influence like Jesus or love like Jesus without a humble center of your spirit. He was royalty but he didn't need to wear a crown. He didn't need to cling to his clear advantages over men. He didn't feel the need to point to his deity. But he did leave heaven for earth. He did offer to carry the loads of others. He did unburden the distressed. He did choose faithfulness to God over flattery from men. Humble was not something Jesus did, humble is who he was. This is Jesus. Jesus is in you. Is this you?
