We’ve all over-promised and under-delivered. We’ve all felt inspired and convicted. We wanted to change. We were ready to aim high. But then, we’ve all been smacked in the face by reality and fallen back to wistfully thinking, “Ya, God. But, how?” You may be better at blaming than forgiving. Your pride may prevent you from apologizing or asking for help. You may be playing a constant comparison game, dogged by insecurity wondering “what are they thinking about me?” Does your fear of looking like a failure cause you to fail to be honest? You wonder, “Will I ever be able to kill my fear, pretending and lying?” God doesn’t frown at you. He says, “Yes, I can set you free to be the real you I intended.” Are you ready to be God-confident, instead of flailing to be self-confident? Let’s look at how Jesus lived as a son. He gives us the way and the how of being a real and good man - authentic and beneficial to others. He received as a son and transformed as a man. He’ll give us the way to live a life of being transformed and transforming relationships and situations for good.
