THE WONDERFUL UNKNOWN
Big journeys require big courage and faith. Think Columbus. Think Lewis and Clark. Think the astronauts of Apollo 11. What they all have in common is that their starting point and their finishing point required a certain tolerance of the unknown. There were so many factors they could never predict or control. And, yet, they all said "yes." In the same way, our truest identity in God calls us personally to destinations of character, growth, and challenge that are not easy to say "yes" to when God asks. In fact, even enthusiastic and committed followers who have seen God work mighty miracles in the past are vulnerable to fresh voices of fear that sabotage new journeys with God before they even begin.
