MAC OS X - Split n Join Files, can be done in many different ways. Using freeware & non-freeware applications. Now to split files into .RAR format on MAC OS X there are two apps I know of which can do this one is terminal based from http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm called RAROSX not free, or a free option is SimplyRar from http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/21430 please note that this free version is no longer supported. Now those are just a few options if you really need to create .RAR file & split them.

BetterZip & Split&Concat will allow us to split as well as combine files togehter, while Stuffit Expander will allow us to combine files only that are in parts.
