Description

On Thursday, as they ate a Passover meal with Jesus, the disciples believed that the Kingdom of God was coming and they were on the front end of a revolution. Then came the tragedy of Friday...followed by the silence of Saturday. They ran, they doubted and they despaired. From their perspective all was lost. What happens when our faith doesn't match reality? Is God really with me when life hurts? Why does the church insist on looking on the sunny side of life even though it require far more courage to walk in the darkness. In the Sitting Room we talk about the dark before the dawn. Joining Kathy is Dr. A.J.Swoboda, author of "A Glorious Dark: Finding Hope in the Tension between Belief and Experience." And, Jordan Monge, an atheist who went to Harvard to find truth. Instead Truth found her.
