Thanks soooo much to Scott Fensterer Sculpture Studio and Amber Fensterer for spending some time with us yesterday! Scott is a Freelance Makeup Artist and Materials Specialist known for his work on The Wind Up Boy (2011), Face Off (2011) and Maiden to Monster (2012). Scott’s passion for special effects makeup has morphed into a lifelong career in art. He has continued to evolve as an artist, sculpting maquettes, toy and hobby prototypes, life-sized museum figures and private commissions for collectors the world over. Scott owned and operated his own action figure/collectible studio, Protohype Studios, located in Winter Garden, spending some time in that “uncanny valley” creating hyper-realistic sculpture and a dedication to capturing likenesses. Scott has turned his attention back to his first love -- special effects makeup. Also joining us is Amber Santos, otherwise known as the brand new Mrs. Fensterer! A Florida native, Amber also does special effects, fandom, and is a make-up coordinator at “The Shallow Grave.” Amber's background includes the healthcare Industry, she is a nurse, she was an EMT for the Fire Department and has worked for the Sheriff's office. She has many life skills that she has learned over the years that make her a vital partner! With a background in baking and specialty cakes, Amber and Scott created D'edible Delights, a very unique business which we'll learn more about in our interview. Not only are her and Scott business partners, they also recently tied the knot. Congratulations! Radio TakeOver is proud to present Scott Fensterer and Amber Santos!
