Australian attacking midfielder Max Burgess has joined the Wellington Phoenix on a one-year deal.
Burgess spent last season with semi-professional outfit Sydney Olympic.
"It's an exciting opportunity for me as a player to work under Mark and to join this squad of players is really exciting for me. There's a lot of experience in that squad that I want to learn off."
The Wellington Phoenix will make another player announcement tomorrow.
