Periodically an ocean current brings death to the Galapagos Islands. Climatic phenomena such as "El Niño" warm waters of the Pacific coast and causes a dreadful mortality among animal species.
But Galapagos does not die. The arrival of "El Niño" is only part of its ancient cycle of death and resurrection. A reminder of its origins and a repeat infinitely smaller scale of how life colonized these islands to turn them into a paradise on earth.
