So this show was a bit of a disaster from the start, technically at least! Despite my best efforts the stream was buffering all over the shop & I had to abort after about 40 minutes of trying to sort it out. I have since found out that my broadband speed is pants & have a technician booked. Thanks Sky! Anyway, despite all that I did carry on playing and most importantly recording the show / no show (always the consummate professional!). I was too annoyed to speak though, so this is just over two hours of music with no incoherent mumbling from me. A bonus some might say!
So this show as usual is completely off the cuff, but seems to generally have quite a Jazz feel. Starting off which some 89 bpm head nod sh*t from Norwegian oufit Ultheo Choerer, Karmasound, a bit of Detroit flavour from Dez Andrés and Moodymann, Javonntte, Kaid Tatham, Aldorande & John Beltran. The tempo has been subtly increasing & now we are into 100+ bpm territory. Moving up in tempo throughout the show in fact until we reach the heights of 136 bpm.
