S2E03: BENCH MINOR
After a brief holiday respite, Plot Device returns with a tale as cold as ice by making a sports movie about a game that not even Kevin Costner would touch: hockey. Chas Chestermere had it all: fame, hockey skills and a bad boy attitude. But when he’s traded from Chicago’s big market city to the lowly Calgary Flames, it seems like a steep decline for the one time MVP. Playing for an owner desperate to move the team to Texas, Chas thinks he’ll coast his way through Cowtown. That is until the city’s hockey passion and his coach’s support cause him to think differently. Now, Chas isn’t just playing for the playoffs, he’s playing for the city itself.
