Pretty much every other major esport had some kind of massive event this week, so you could be forgiven for not keeping up with competitive Counter-Strike. Sure, we had a pretty big LAN with DreamHack Austin, but it wasn’t a particularly star-studded field, with just one of the teams who made it to the last eight of the ELEAGUE Major in attendance.
Outside of DreamHack, things were relatively quiet. ECS and the ESL Pro League continued, with a few shock results and more than a few unbelievable plays. There was some drama, as usual, and Ninjas in Pyjamas continue to be incredibly unpredictable. In fact, that could be a new section for TLDW: “Were NiP good or bad this week?”
