Laura Boyd formed Leadership Delta after 20 years working with organizations in the field of marketing and sales. When she faced a transition she faced the question “what do I want to be when I grow up?” Through reflection and support from family, friends and mentors, she knew in her gut that helping organizations growth through strong leadership was her next step. Leadership Delta was born and is not 2 years old. Her business lessons include:
Figure out what you want to do
Have a growth mindset
Be grateful

Something in my gut said “sales and marketing is not the right direction."
Laura realized she loved helping organizations grow
Figure out what you want to do.
Know the game you are playing and play full out.
Take what you enjoy and are passionate about and move it forward.
You have to have a good support system to help you figure out what you want.
Family is the biggest support system you have.
Be in groups that push you and help you figure out what you want.
Have a growth mindset.
Failure is ok.
Smart and calculated failure can allow you to grow.
Lessons learned can help you determine new directions in your business.
The only way you will learn lessons is by taking risks and have a growth mindset.
Be grateful!
As much as you give you will get back in return.
Laura’s leadership credo: Help others help themselves.
When we all do better, we all do better. (Mary Brainerd)
