Ellen is the CEO of the Mental Health Association in Ulster County, NY. The Mental Health Association is a not for profit organization who’s mission is to engage all people in achieving their optimal mental health by providing innovative and compassionate services that educate, advocate, prevent and heal. To achieve it's mission, the MHA sponsors a variety of educational, advocacy and service programs, including mental health education, rehabilitation, residential services, family and youth support services, and therapeutic foster care.
Ellen provides information about what to do if you feel suicidal and to help people to be suicide aware.
She gives practical information on how to help someone who maybe at risk for suicide.
