Turuq is the plural of tariq which means path. So turuq are pathways. The idea behind this name is that we want to show that there are different paths which you can go down – not only one.
Turuq_ is an association engaged in education and prevention. Hate Speech is one central part of extremist ideologies. The main focus of activities is consultation and education in order to strengthen the youth against the pitfalls of extremist world views. A team of education experts and youth social workers hold workshops for youth, adults and teachers. Ideas and strategies concerning prevention play a major role in workshops and seminars as well as conferences.
