"Between My Head and the Sky" fue lanzado en septiembre del 2009. Se trata del primer álbum que Yoko sacó con la nueva alineación de la Plastic Ono Band, desde "Feeling the Space" en 1973. Los nuevos integrantes de la banda incluían a Cornelius de la banda de Shibuya-Kei, Flipper's Band, Yuka Honda, integrante junto con Sean Lennon, el otro integrante de la Plastic Ono Band e hijo de Yoko.
